Zum Auftakt des gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekts „Das Silbermarkt-Phänomen - Geschäftschancen und unternehmerische Verantwortung im Zeitalter des demographischen Wandels” organisierten Florian Kohlbacher, DIJ, und Prof. Dr. Cornelius Herstatt, Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH), gemeinsam einen Workshop, auf dem 19 Vortragenden und über 30 Teilnehmer über die wirtschaftlichen Implikationen des demografischen Wandels diskutierten. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts werden weitere Workshops und ein internationales Symposium folgen
